Materials

Worsted weight yarn

4.5 OR 5 mm hook (If you like it looser with little to no stretch, use the 5mm. If you like it to stretch and fit tighter, use the 4.5mm)

Notes

CH 2 does not count as a ST.

Round 1

1. CH 25
2. SC around both sides of the chain (48)
3. SL ST to first SC of round
4. CH 2

Round 2

1. DC all the way around.
2. SL ST to CH 2.
3. CH 2. (24)

Rounds 3-12

Repeat Round 2.

Round 13

1. *Place 4 DC into the first ST. SL ST x2*
2. Repeat from * to * 4 times.
3. One more SL ST and CH 12.
4. SL ST into the next 3 stitches.
5. Repeat from * to * until the end of the round.
6. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Finishing

Sew on a button on the front for the loop to fasten around.
